Job Description

Develop and integrate FPGA hardware designs, including new functional blocks, interfaces, third-party IP cores, and in-house IP cores. Update constraint files and execute synthesis, simulation, and Place & Route processes to support timing closure and design integrity. Program FPGA devices primarily from the Xilinx Versal, UltraScale, and UltraScale+ families while collaborating with system engineering teams on hardware and software integration and testing.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
    • 14+ years of related work experience
    • 5+ years of experience with FPGA and/or ASIC design
    • Strong Xilinx/AMD Vivado experience
    • Experience with Versal family devices
    • Verilog/SystemVerilog HDL proficiency
    • Advanced FPGA implementation skills involving synthesis, timing closure, and constraints
    • Experience with HDLBASE, ASIC, and FPGA
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Regular and predictable attendance is required
    • Preferred Skills
    • 2+ years of experience with FPGA design
    • Strong Xilinx/AMD Vivado experience
    • Verilog/SystemVerilog proficiency
    • Advanced FPGA implementation skills involving synthesis, timing closure, and constraints
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Create and add new functional blocks and interfaces to inherited FPGA top-level designs
    • Integrate third-party and in-house IP cores
    • Update constraint files
    • Perform synthesis, simulation, and Place & Route processes to support timing closure and design integrity
    • Program FPGA devices primarily from the Xilinx Versal, UltraScale, and UltraScale+ families
    • Collaborate with system engineering teams to support hardware and software system integration
    • Support testing activities required to deliver a fully functioning system
