Job Description

Design, develop, test, and maintain software system and subsystem engineering models throughout the end-to-end lifecycle. Review and translate customer requirements and technical specifications, develop and deploy operational flight software used to monitor and test systems, and support system and subsystem integration, debugging, and issue resolution.

• First Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 9x80 work schedule; up to 10% overtime
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or equivalent technical education and experience
• 9+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Embedded software design experience
• Experience with Jira
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Ability to code in C and/or Ada

• Preferred Skills
• ABET accreditation preferred

• Job Duties & Functions
• Design and develop software system and subsystem engineering models
• Test software system and subsystem engineering models throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
• Maintain software system and subsystem engineering models to meet industry, customer, and safety standards
• Review customer requirements and technical specifications
• Analyze requirements and specifications for stakeholder use
• Translate customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use
• Develop operational flight software used to monitor and test the system
• Deploy operational flight software
• Support system and subsystem integration
• Debug issues identified within software products
• Resolve software issues to support product reliability and efficiency
• Provide system and subsystem resources to team members
