Job Description

Design, synthesize, build, and debug ASIC and FPGA systems using Xilinx/AMD FPGA targets and associated development tools. Support requirements understanding, simulation and laboratory debugging, cross-team design activities, Circuitware milestone documentation, and FPGA development using Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, and Python.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
    • 9+ years of experience with synthesizing and building designs based on Xilinx/AMD FPGA targets, Vivado, Synopsys tools for simulation, lint/CDC, and synthesis
    • Experience designing with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL
    • Ability to quickly understand requirements documentation
    • Experience debugging designs in laboratory and simulation environments
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Design ASIC and FPGA systems for development programs
    • Synthesize and build designs targeting Xilinx/AMD UltraScale Plus and Versal FPGA platforms
    • Debug designs in laboratory and simulation environments
    • Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot designs
    • Support Circuitware documentation for milestone review preparation, including requirements documentation, analysis, and presentation materials
    • Develop FPGA designs using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL
    • Utilize Python during FPGA development activities
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Work schedule is 4/10 - 1st Shift
    • Worksite classification permits telework at least 50% of the time
    • Preferred work locations include Sunnyvale, CA; Houston, TX; or the Denver, CO area
    • Remote work is also permitted
