Job Description
Support ASIC and FPGA development for an R&D program with emphasis on FPGA verification for safety-critical avionics hardware. Execute verification activities including requirement analysis, test development, simulation, coverage analysis, back-annotation, integration, and test while supporting DO-254 Level A compliance and collaboration across engineering disciplines.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of work-related experience
- Experience with FPGA design tools (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, Synopsys Synplify).
- Proficient in SystemVerilog
- Proficiency with HDL simulators, waveform viewers, and coverage tools.
- Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test setups and test equipment (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers).
- Prior involvement in FAA or EASA certification audits.
- Experience with version control systems and configuration management.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

- Proficient in UVM and C
- Job Duties & Functions
- Develop ASIC and FPGA solutions for R&D programs involving digital signal processing, high-speed digital design, high-speed communication, and system-on-chip implementations on FPGA platforms
- Support testing and integration of FPGA-based systems
- Automate FPGA development efforts through scripts
- Collaborate with Systems Architects, RF/Analog & Digital Circuit designers, and ASIC/FPGA engineers
- Provide technical direction to junior engineers
- Contribute to design, simulation, verification, integration, and test of complex, high-speed products
- Analyze requirements to support DO-254 verification activities
- Develop verification tests and execute verification activities
- Conduct simulation and coverage analysis
- Back-annotate verification results
- Coordinate with design, systems, and certification teams to support DO-254 Level A compliance
- Utilize FPGA design tools including Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, and Synopsys Synplify
- Apply SystemVerilog for FPGA verification activities
- Operate HDL simulators, waveform viewers, and coverage tools
