Job Description
Develop and maintain requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and software designs for high-performance Command and Control (C2) solutions supporting space and ground systems. Lead and support software development and integration activities within an Agile and DevSecOps environment while contributing to demonstrations, technical leadership, integration and testing, and development scheduling activities.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and typically 9+ years of work-related experience
- 5+ years of experience with software development for space systems and ground segments performing command, control, mission planning, and data processing
- 5+ years of experience in the Software Development Lifecycle, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration, and Test
- 3+ years of experience leading software development projects
- 3+ years of experience with software development using Java, C++, or Python
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment and DevOps methodologies
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Superior judgment and decision-making skills
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- Experience as a Product Owner/Technical Lead and/or Integration & Test Lead for government programs
- Understanding of Command and Control (C2) systems, real-time applications, and their specific requirements
- Experience with database technologies including SQL/NoSQL, messaging systems such as Kafka and ActiveMQ, and data streaming technologies such as CCSDS
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and orchestration platforms
- Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate testing, builds, and deployment workflows
- Experience with formal acceptance testing activities, including Formal Qualification Test (FQT), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
- Active TS/SCI or DoD Top Secret clearance

- Develop and maintain requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and design for high-performance Command and Control (C2) software solutions
- Lead software development activities within a scaled Agile methodology utilizing a DevSecOps environment
- Support software development activities and integrate completed software components into a fully functional software system
- Support progress demonstration presentations for customer representatives and program or IPT leadership
- Perform day-to-day activities in the areas of Product Owner/Technical Lead, Release Train Engineer/Scrum Master, and/or Integration & Test Lead
- Support the IPT by implementing a structured approach to defining and meeting development and integration schedules alongside a rigorously managed cost baseline
