Job Description

Coordinate production and inventory activities by managing material storage, inventory accuracy, material movement, and production scheduling requirements. Support warehouse operations while ensuring materials, hardware, and equipment are available to meet production schedules and operational requirements. Perform inventory analysis, material coordination, and production support in accordance with established procedures.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • 1+ years of experience with warehouse inventory including parts accuracy and accountability
    • Computer experience and competency
    • Ability to obtain a forklift license
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Preferred Skills
    • Forklift Certified
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Route materials to prescribed storage locations following established storage procedures
    • Conduct inventory of stored materials and report deterioration or damage
    • Remove and issue materials from storage while preparing shipments
    • Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required
    • Comply with health and safety regulations, tool control, FOD requirements, contracts, facilities, housekeeping, and inventory control procedures
    • Review production scheduling requirements to determine material and hardware needs
    • Identify, investigate, analyze, and resolve material-related issues to maintain quality standards, schedules, and material costs
    • Perform in-depth analysis of complex material requirements, inventories, schedules, and configuration control when required
    • Support additional duties assigned by supervision and management
    • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
    • Complete required on-the-job or formal classroom training
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Able to ascend and descend vertical work ladders
    • Work in confined spaces
    • Lift approximately 35 pounds
    • Two-person lift may be required for weights greater than 50 pounds
    • Work on elevated platforms
    • Use required personal protective equipment for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms
    • Pass visual acuity and color perception testing
    • Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials
    • Obtain and maintain required training certifications
    • Perform occasional finger manipulation
    • Perform frequent overhead reaching
    • Walk frequently on flat surfaces
    • Stand frequently on flat and uneven surfaces
    • Balance frequently on ladders, steps, and uneven surfaces
    • Climb 3 to 12-foot ladders or stands occasionally
    • Perform head and neck rotation, sitting, crawling, squatting, bending, stooping, lying down, and operating foot controls for extended periods
    • Occasional contact with metals
    • Frequent exposure to noise
    • Variable shifts, overtime, and weekend work as required
