Job Description

Develop satellite ground system solutions by supporting systems engineering activities throughout the system life cycle, including requirements analysis, architecture development, software integration, verification, and testing. Perform system engineering tasks within an agile development environment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure customer and program requirements are achieved. Support ground system development, qualification, and customer delivery activities.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
• 14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Experience in verification and testing of Ground Command and Control (C2) software systems
• Knowledge of Control Systems
• Experience with Systems Engineering and Analysis
• Understanding of verification testing
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Experience writing ground system requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Experience developing, generating, and executing system test plans, procedures, and reports
• Experience working with systems engineering teams using a scaled agile development process
• 3+ years of experience with system requirements generation, verification, and system integration and test (I&T)

• Job Duties & Functions
• Plan, design, develop, and verify balanced system-of-systems and system solutions
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements
• Integrate technical parameters while ensuring compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces
• Perform analyses to optimize system-of-systems and software system architecture
• Analyze affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance factors
• Support requirements management processes, tools, risk management, issue management, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessments
• Develop ground system architecture and design
• Support software system integration activities
• Execute software system testing, verification, and demonstrations
• Develop, execute, and document ground system test plans, procedures, and reports
• Support customer delivery system verification and testing
• Participate in agile development activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
