Test Evaluation Engineer

Job Description

Support laboratory test operations by planning, conducting, documenting, and analyzing tests for products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes. Coordinate test activities, prepare laboratory setups, troubleshoot test-related issues, and document test results while supporting system integration and test readiness activities. Assist with laboratory maintenance and work under general direction in an onsite engineering environment.

    • 2nd Shift (12:00 PM - 8:00 PM) after training; Training begins on 1st Shift with a 7:00 AM start
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Associate's degree and 3+ years of related work experience, or Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of related work experience, or 5+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Possess experience working in a laboratory environment and/or performing electronic testing and troubleshooting
    • Apply troubleshooting skills
    • Follow established processes, procedures, and specifications
    • Demonstrate the ability to take and retain detailed instructions
    • Exhibit integrity and the ability to work as a self-starter
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Preferred Skills
    • Experience with electronic testing
    • Experience working in a laboratory environment
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Plan, conduct, and document testing of products, systems, components, materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies
    • Design, fabricate, build, and analyze test systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies
    • Coordinate test requirements while determining appropriate test methods and capabilities
    • Prepare systems for testing through integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and teardown activities
    • Conduct tests, analyze collected data, and document results
    • Participate in test readiness reviews
    • Troubleshoot laboratory and test-related issues while implementing resolutions
    • Coordinate laboratory activities, maintenance, and repair efforts
    • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Work onsite in a laboratory environment
    • Climb stairs as required
    • Perform electronic testing and troubleshooting activities
    • Support overtime as needed
