Job Description
Develop and support software systems for satellite ground applications by defining software architecture, requirements, interfaces, and integration activities. Lead software development efforts while supporting Agile and DevSecOps environments to deliver software solutions that meet program objectives. Collaborate with integrated product teams to support development schedules, customer demonstrations, and software integration.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field
- Demonstrate 9+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and experience
- Possess 5+ years of experience supporting software development for space systems and ground segments performing command, control, mission planning, and data processing
- Apply 5+ years of experience throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration, and Test
- Lead software development projects with 3+ years of experience
- Develop software using Java, C++, or Python with 3+ years of experience
- Work within Agile software development and DevOps methodologies
- Utilize C++ for software development
- Develop software using Java
- Program software solutions using Python
- Support software development activities
- Apply Agile software development practices
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- Experience serving as a Product Owner, Technical Lead, or Integration & Test Lead for government programs
- Understanding of Command and Control (C2) systems, real-time applications, and their operational requirements
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, ActiveMQ, and CCSDS technologies
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms
- Strong experience designing and implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, builds, and deployment workflows
- Experience supporting Formal Qualification Tests (FQT), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Active TS/SCI or DoD Top Secret clearance
- Job Duties & Functions
- Develop and maintain software requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for Command and Control (C2) software solutions
- Lead software development activities utilizing Agile methodologies within a DevSecOps environment
- Support software development and integrate completed software components into fully functional software systems
- Present program progress demonstrations to customer representatives and integrated product team leadership
- Perform Product Owner, Technical Lead, Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, and Integration & Test Lead activities as assigned
- Support integrated product teams by implementing structured development and integration schedules while maintaining cost baselines
