Manufacturing Planner 3

Job Description

Support manufacturing planning activities by developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and production documentation for technical statement of work requirements. Develop manufacturing concepts, coordinate tooling and production activities, and resolve manufacturing issues while supporting delivery commitments. Analyze production requirements, translate EBOM into MBOM, and maintain manufacturing data within the production system.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Minimum of an Associate's degree and 3+ years of related work experience
• Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning
• Possess experience with GOLD
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Experience supporting Boeing programs

• Job Duties & Functions
• Plan and lead manufacturing planning processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations
• Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies that support business objectives
• Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports
• Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to satisfy manufacturing and delivery requirements
• Participate in source selection activities to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
• Develop complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
• Manage tooling from initial design through end-of-use disposition
• Investigate and resolve complex or systemic manufacturing-related issues
• Lead producibility assessments of design concepts
• Develop complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
• Draft, update, and review processes and procedures supporting business and regulatory requirements
• Review and implement non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications
• Translate Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the production system
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
