System Integration | Test Engineer

Job Description

Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain software integration and test solutions for the Missile Operational Flight Program (MOFP). Develop and execute integration and system test activities while analyzing results, resolving software discrepancies, and validating system performance. Support complete system integration through hardware and software testing in an onsite engineering environment.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience or a Master's degree with 0-3 years of experience
• 2+ years of experience with C++
• 2+ years of experience with integration
• 2+ years of experience working in a System/Software Integration Lab (SIL) performing test planning, procedure development, and execution of manual and automated tests
• 2+ years of experience working in an Agile team environment using daily scrums, sprint cadence, program increments, and epic-based release schedules
• 2+ years of experience scripting automated tests and performing data analysis using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools
• 2+ years of experience performing hardware and software integration using COTS or bespoke tools to evaluate software, identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide resolution recommendations
• 2+ years of experience analyzing software problems
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Job Duties & Functions
• Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems
• Develop system test solutions that satisfy customer contractual requirements while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Establish functional and technical specifications, resolve hardware and software interface issues, and ensure complete system integration
• Review requirements for testability and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules
• Coordinate subsystem and system testing activities with internal programs and supporting organizations
• Analyze test results and prepare subsystem and system evaluation reports to verify and validate performance
• Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to validate software, subsystem, and system corrections
