Material Handler

Job Description

Perform material handling activities by loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials throughout the worksite. Support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations while maintaining accurate records and assisting production through safe material movement. Operate material handling equipment and basic computer systems to support daily warehouse operations.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of experience
• Demonstrate basic computer skills to log into programs, print labels, and enter time
• Perform shipping and receiving activities within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Operate hand tools to open containers and process materials
• Record material counts and weights accurately
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Preferred Skills
• 1 - 2 years of experience with warehouse forklift operations

• Job Duties & Functions
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, machines, and trucks
• Convey materials using wheelbarrows, hand trucks, forklifts, electric dollies, elevators, or other material handling equipment
• Count and weigh materials while recording required information
• Open containers using hand tools
• Stack and assemble materials for storage or production
• Assist machine operators by lifting heavy objects manually or with power hoists
• Support shipping and receiving operations under specific direction
• Print labels and enter time using company computer systems
