Software Engineer

Job Description

Coordinate supplier software development activities supporting mission computing products while overseeing technical performance, project status, and software deliveries. Manage software acquisition efforts, maintain engineering documentation, and support issue resolution across integrated product teams. Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality software deliverables and program execution.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a STEM-related field
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
• Apply strong software development processes and methodologies
• 3-5 years of experience with JIRA
• 5+ years of previous software development experience using one or more of the following: C, C++, C

• , and/or Python
• Supplier management experience
• Bridge communication between external suppliers and software development teams
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Utilize experience with SW Depot, CART, and Automet
• Demonstrate experience using SIMS
• Support supplier technical management activities

• Job Duties & Functions
• Provide engineering management and oversight of supplier software development
• Coordinate supplier software deliveries and report project status to Program Management
• Manage Software Problem Anomaly Report (SPAR) metrics and support issue resolution
• Maintain entries within the Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD) and flight-series data modules
• Update and publish Interface Requirements Specifications and message format definitions in the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS)
• Oversee supplier software activities while influencing design decisions and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables
