Job Description
Perform routine production assembly of structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual assembly methods. Support manufacturing operations by resolving routine production issues, documenting corrective actions, and maintaining established production standards. Contribute to continuous improvement while working independently under general supervision in a 100% onsite manufacturing environment.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment where compliance is critical
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Perform fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- 1+ years of experience using specialized tools including electrical and mechanical wire crimpers, wire strippers, wire routing tools, computer files, and multimeters
- Apply knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams, schematics, functional tests, and supplier data
- Differentiate production manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures while supporting the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes
- Demonstrate knowledge of shop processes including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)

- Select from established work methods to complete assigned tasks accurately
