Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Develop embedded C/C++ software supporting missile subsystem programs for flight test applications. Perform software requirements analysis, architecture development, implementation, integration, and testing within a real-time embedded environment. Support software development activities while working onsite in Grand Prairie, Texas.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency with C/C++ (C++11 or higher)
• Proficiency using Linux systems and a real-time operating environment
• Demonstrate previous Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) experience working with real-time embedded systems
• Experience with simulation systems
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Ada
• Experience throughout the full software development life cycle
• Experience using Git, GitLab, and JIRA
