Software Engineer

Job Description

Develop, test, document, and maintain software solutions supporting business and mission-critical applications. Design software using industry-standard development practices while leveraging Unreal Engine and advanced C++ programming to implement high-quality solutions. Analyze system requirements, resolve software issues, and ensure applications meet functional and performance objectives throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of experience or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of experience
• 4-6 years of experience with Unreal Engine development and advanced C++ programming
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software applications using established software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools
• Analyze business and mission requirements while developing logical and mathematical software solutions
• Correct software defects, prepare operating instructions, and maintain program documentation
• Evaluate system capabilities, programming techniques, input requirements, and output specifications to ensure software standards are achieved
• Must be local to Orlando and available to work onsite as needed
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities throughout the software development lifecycle
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software applications
• Apply software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools during implementation
• Utilize Unreal Engine and advanced C++ to develop software solutions
• Correct software program errors and resolve technical issues
• Prepare operating instructions and maintain software development documentation
• Analyze system capabilities, program intent, input data acquisition, output requirements, programming techniques, and controls
• Ensure software solutions comply with established development standards
