Develop and verify advanced ASIC and FPGA solutions supporting aerospace, defense, and commercial applications. Design verification environments, implement reusable testbenches, and perform simulation, coverage analysis, and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-performance digital integrated circuits and system-on-chip solutions.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent non-U.S. qualifications
- Proven experience with ASIC and FPGA verification, SystemVerilog/UVM architecture, and production design release
- Demonstrated proficiency using SystemVerilog, SystemVerilog Assertions, and implementing verification test plans
- Experience designing self-checking, reusable testbenches utilizing Object-Oriented Programming principles including inheritance and polymorphism
- Capability to develop Functional Coverage Models, perform Code Coverage analysis, and achieve coverage closure
- Ability to collaborate with design and systems engineering teams to establish accurate and verifiable ASIC/FPGA specifications
- Working knowledge of waveform debug tools, revision control systems including SVN, CVS, and Git, and Linux environments
- Experience with ASIC
- Experience with FPGA
- Experience developing test plans

- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with hardware-based integration and testing of ASIC/FPGA designs, including hardware emulators such as Palladium
- Knowledge of high-speed SerDes interfaces including JESD204C, PCIe, and Ethernet
- Proficiency with scripting languages including Make, Perl, and Python
- Familiarity with space-based design techniques, radiation mitigation, and achieving first-pass ASIC design success
- Job Duties & Functions
- Design and implement ASIC/FPGA verification environments utilizing UVM and SystemVerilog
- Develop self-checking and reusable testbenches from the ground up using Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Create Functional Coverage Models and conduct Code Coverage analysis during simulation
- Establish regression tests and collect coverage metrics to monitor verification progress
- Assist with FPGA-based prototyping and validation based on program and system requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align verification strategies with project objectives and schedules
