Job Description

Researches, analyzes, and compiles technical data for products and system-level concepts in projected operational environments to support lifecycle effectiveness. Performs systems engineering support activities involving part sustainment, modification support, inventory management, and coordination with engineering, supplier management, technicians, and government personnel. Supports the maintenance and sustainment of the United States Air Force E-4B aircraft fleet through analyst and warehouse functions.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
    • 2+ years of experience in related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Ability to acquire Tinker AFB access
    • Preferred Skills
    • Experience in Air Force supply processes
    • Active security clearance
    • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated self-motivation and initiative
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to include communicating with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions and clearly conveying information to individuals or groups
    • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Applications

    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Process Purchase Requests (PR) and submit to Supplier Management
    • Coordinate with Supplier Management for Purchase Order (PO) placement, status, and estimated ship dates
    • Interface between Supplier Management and Engineering teams
    • Verify part requirements by reviewing Air Force Technical Order References, Parts Lists, and Drawings
    • Coordinate scrap and part disposals with Government customers
    • Review aircraft modification drawings and Technical Orders to develop recommendations on spare part dispositioning
    • Research obsolete parts, materials, and tools required to sustain aging aircraft
    • Perform monthly equipment calibration PR submittals
    • Manage jobs created for unserviceable parts, submit purchase requests, track part and material status, and establish stock levels and reorder points
    • Support technicians by coordinating part requests for repairs
    • Generate job orders
    • Conduct physical inventory
    • Issue parts to technicians performing repairs
    • Process part requests and part turn-ins for serviceable and unserviceable items
    • Monitor Do-In-From-Maintenance (DIFM) parts
    • Submit purchase requests through Aviall/BD for equipment calibrations
    • Work with Gold system to manage aircraft parts
