Analyze production workflows, facility layouts, and manufacturing operations to improve efficiency and maximize utilization of personnel, equipment, and facilities. Develop facility design solutions, coordinate layout activities, and oversee projects supporting manufacturing operations. Perform planning, cost analysis, and facility modifications while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of related engineering experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience using AutoCAD for 2D drafting
- Demonstrate experience in production operations or manufacturing
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite
- Prepare and deliver presentations
- Develop long-range space plans
- Create facility layouts using AutoCAD
- Coordinate process-flow layouts and clearance requirements with Production Operations and Industrial Engineering
- Verify field drawings and manage as-built releases
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, policies, and quality requirements
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

- Job Duties & Functions
- Analyze production workflows and equipment layouts to improve operational efficiency
- Design facility configurations supporting manufacturing operations
- Develop and implement facility modification plans
- Gather and review facility specifications, construction feasibility, and scheduling data
- Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and layout drawings
- Estimate project costs for equipment, labor, materials, installation, and related activities
- Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
- Prepare bid sheets and construction contracts
- Support planning and design activities for manufacturing facilities
- Conduct studies related to cost control, inventory management, and production record systems
