RF Engineer

Job Description

Support the production, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex RF modules used in high-reliability applications throughout the product lifecycle. Analyze technical issues, develop innovative engineering solutions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver advanced RF products. Provide production support while resolving implementation challenges in manufacturing environments.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• 5+ years of relevant professional engineering experience
• 1 - 2 years of experience with Engineering
• Troubleshoot designs and resolve integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment
• Demonstrate hands-on hardware experience
• Operate RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools
• Communicate technical information effectively through written and verbal presentations
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field
• Significant experience in the defense electronics industry
• Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits
• Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques
• Expertise with technical documentation including specifications, schematic drawings, and test data
• Strong communication skills
• Experience interfacing with customers and delivering technical presentations
• Prior RF design experience
• Ability to lead failure investigations involving production or technical issues
• Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing, industrial engineers, and production operators
• 1 - 2 years of experience with Ability to Read Engineering Drawings, work in a production environment, Electrical Testing, and with Failure Analysis

• Identify and correct implementation issues affecting operational products
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, circuit design engineers, manufacturing personnel, and technical support teams
• Troubleshoot production and integration issues
• Contribute to RF product development and sustainment activities
• Provide engineering support during manufacturing operations
