Industrial Engineer

Job Description

Apply industrial engineering principles to optimize manufacturing processes, production systems, and facility operations that support program requirements. Develop workflows, production plans, capacity analyses, and process improvements while integrating new technologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and schedule performance. Support manufacturing operations through data analysis, production planning, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Education & Job Requirements
• 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of work-related experience with a Master's degree, or work-related experience with a PhD
• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing
• 5+ years of experience partnering with key functions in an integrator or lead role
• Passion for continuous improvement and manufacturing process stabilization

• Job Duties & Functions
• Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to products, processes, and services
• Develop plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, operational sequencing, and workflows
• Evaluate new technologies for integration into production and service operations
• Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel
• Conduct workflow design and analysis
• Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide metrics to leaders and customers
• Research, develop, improve, and implement processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality
• Implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods
• Create product assembly instructions and standardize assembly practices
• Prepare operations plans, including work statement analysis, budgeting, forecasting, capacity analysis, constraint analysis, and production changes
• Support execution planning using project management, planning, scheduling, and shop load practices
• Provide production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility, and recovery planning support
• Ensure compliance with industry safety requirements, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines
