Job Description
Perform electrical and wire harness fabrication, assembly, repair, and testing for development, production, and prototype electrical assemblies. Support manufacturing operations by constructing wire harnesses, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. Maintain production efficiency while collaborating with engineering, quality, and material management teams.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Demonstrated experience using a computer to look up and record information
- Experience using mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions
- Ability to work any shift based on operational needs
- Knowledgeable and skilled in electrical wire harness materials, fabrication, assembly methods, and common shop practices
- Knowledgeable and able to apply basic mathematics
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- Experience constructing wire harnesses and panels by cutting, sorting, color-coding, measuring, stripping, crimping, soldering, routing, and working with various wire types, gauges, and heat-shrink materials
- Experience using written instructions and drawings to complete assigned tasks
- Experience using hand tools and hand-held power tools
- Experience determining wire gauge size
- Job Duties & Functions
- Fabricate, assemble, modify, repair, and test development, production, and prototype wire harnesses and electrical assemblies
- Utilize the quality management system to identify and document nonconforming parts, assemblies, and processes
- Collaborate with engineering, material management, and quality teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Construct wire harnesses and panels by cutting, sorting, color-coding, measuring, stripping, crimping, soldering, routing, and inspecting wiring materials
- Operate wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, wire identification and cutting machines, heat guns, and related equipment
- Ensure assemblies and detail parts remain free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and nonconformance issues
- Complete all required training and certifications
- Maintain safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, specifications, and written or verbal instructions
- Train new employees in electrical harness fabrication work packages
- Report job status and production constraints to coworkers and supervision
- Navigate computer systems for office and shop applications
- Work effectively as part of a team by providing and receiving feedback while assisting others
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Periods of standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods as required
- Must be available to work any shift based on company needs
