Job Description
Perform engineering analysis to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle. Analyze design non-conformances, develop engineering dispositions, and support structural repair activities for the E-7 aircraft while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Develop engineering solutions that support production, quality, safety, and continued airworthiness.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- 3+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience performing Product Review and/or Material Review Board (MRB) activities
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Must be willing to work second shift as required
- Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends, when required
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering program
- Present Material Review Board authority
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Hands-on engineering experience
- Highly motivated to support production operations
- Job Duties & Functions
- Develop and devise engineering dispositions for the E-7 aircraft production line.
- Design structural repairs and conduct simple static strength analysis.
- Apply engineering principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Analyze design non-conformances and develop appropriate engineering dispositions.
- Research technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer and develop interim and final engineering solutions.
- Communicate proactively with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Design, and management personnel.
- Identify, document, and analyze reported problems and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety.
- Recommend and manage resolution of product and process issues.
- Develop and implement product and process improvements.
- Represent the engineering community during the build through post-production environment.
- Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with company standards.
- Analyze damage repairs or structural modifications to determine appropriate jacking and shoring requirements, prevent collateral damage, and support a safe work environment.
- Create interim structural repairs and conduct simple static strength analysis.
- Develop non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.
- Establish troubleshooting approaches for electrical, communications, and mission systems faults.
- Support the Integrated Product Team as the on-site Engineering Representative.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Develop customer correspondence supporting continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Participate in on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support teams.
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Work is performed seated on the factory floor with exposure to aircraft hangar conditions.
- Operate in a noise-controlled environment with cooler temperatures.
- Work may require time near aircraft in the hangar rather than in an office setting.
- Use solvents as required.
