Job Description

Perform assembly, disassembly, modification, inspection, testing, and repair of aerospace vehicle systems supporting the MH-139 Grey Wolf program. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems, document maintenance activities, and ensure aircraft components meet contractual, regulatory, and flightworthiness requirements while working under general direction.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Typically 4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 3-5 years of experience with military avionics on any platform
    • Microsoft Office experience, including Excel and Word
    • Testing, repair, and configuration experience
    • Ability to work variable shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and future 3rd shift assignments, based on program needs
    • Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Preferred Skills
    • Previous experience with M240 maintenance
    • Experience uploading chaff and flare onto aircraft
    • Explosive handling experience for squibs
    • Knowledge of IMDS, AF-21-10, and TO 00-20-1
    • Military background
    • Helicopter maintenance experience
    • AMP experience
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components
    • Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul activities
    • Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
    • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical and electrical faults
    • Repair faulty components and restore system functionality
    • Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
    • Document procedures, repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
    • Inspect components and verify repairs for flightworthiness requirements
    • Support and oversee training activities
    • Maintain the MH-139 Grey Wolf aircraft assigned to the USAF Reserve unit
    • Diagnose integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic and electromechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, subassemblies, Alternate Mission Equipment, and test equipment
    • Perform maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication, and modification of integrated conventional weapons systems and associated components
    • Remove and install integrated conventional weapons systems components, bomb navigation systems, and associated test equipment
    • Conduct pretest, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of systems and subassemblies
    • Accomplish configuration changes to conventional weapons control, launch, release, and suspension assemblies based on mission requirements
    • Perform explosive operations, including loading, unloading, positioning, arming, and safing assigned conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics
    • Control tools, maintain clean work areas and equipment, and complete work control documentation in accordance with established procedures
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
    • Work in a fully onsite environment
    • All required personal protective equipment will be provided
    • Limited overtime as required
    • Weekend work may be required, including Saturday shifts with compensatory time
