Job Description
Performs production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies using engineering drawings, diagrams, and manufacturing instructions. Supports production, inspection, rework, and testing activities while ensuring products meet quality and manufacturing requirements. Assists with prototype and production builds under established assembly procedures.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws for production assembly
- Must successfully complete and pass a required medical examination prior to employment
- Preferred Skills
- IPC-610 experience
- Several years of IPC-610 soldering experience
- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
- Assemble modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables, and related components according to engineering documentation
- Interpret diagrams and drawings to complete initial layouts and production assemblies
- Operate hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws during assembly operations
- Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies
- Inspect production assemblies in accordance with established quality specifications
- Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble production and prototype assemblies as required
- Test experimental and prototype assemblies under simulated operating conditions in accordance with specifications
