Perform industrial engineering activities supporting manufacturing operations, production systems, and process improvement initiatives. Develop engineering solutions that optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and support manufacturing performance throughout the product lifecycle. Analyze manufacturing data, implement Lean methodologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational effectiveness.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and typically 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 2+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes
- 2+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, and/or production environment
- Experience with manufacturing, production, engineering, and developing engineering solutions experience
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Skilled in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills
- 2+ years of experience working in a team environment
- 2+ years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing and knowledge of Lean principles
- Experience developing and deploying standard processes
- Proficient in structured problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Job Duties & Functions
- Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to products, processes, and services that support program requirements
- Design, develop, analyze, test, evaluate, and implement processes and technology insertions to optimize production system design, operational efficiency, and after-market services
- Monitor production performance and support manufacturing systems to meet operational and functional requirements
- Translate engineering, systems, and mathematical concepts into practical applications throughout the product lifecycle
- Research emerging technologies and develop industrial engineering tools and processes
- Ensure compliance with industry safety, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines
- Support the evaluation of new technologies for integration into production processes and service operations
- Develop moderately complex models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze manufacturing data and provide summary metrics
- Assist with researching, designing, developing, improving, and implementing processes and tools that enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality
- Lead metrics development, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and first-time quality
- Support Lean+ events, 5S improvement plans, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
