Job Description
Perform assembly, disassembly, modification, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of aerospace vehicle systems and components supporting MH-139 Grey Wolf aircraft maintenance operations. Execute maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements. Support flight-line and backshop operations under general direction in a military maintenance environment.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 4+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of experience with military avionics maintenance on any aircraft platform
- Experience with testing, repair, and configuration of aircraft systems
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- Previous experience performing M240 maintenance
- Experience uploading chaff and flare onto aircraft
- Experience handling explosive squibs
- Knowledge of IMDS
- Knowledge of AF-21-10
- Knowledge of TO 00-20-1
- Military background
- Experience performing helicopter maintenance
- Experience using AMP
- Job Duties & Functions
- Assemble, disassemble, modify, and overhaul aerospace vehicle systems and components
- Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems to isolate faults
- Repair faulty aircraft components and verify system functionality
- Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
- Document maintenance procedures, repairs, inspections, test results, and modifications to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
- Inspect repaired components and verify airworthiness requirements
- Support and oversee training activities as assigned
- Maintain MH-139 Grey Wolf aircraft supporting USAF Reserve operations
- Diagnose malfunctions involving integrated conventional weapons systems, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, alternate mission equipment, and associated test equipment
- Perform maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication, and modification of integrated conventional weapons systems and related subassemblies
- Remove and install integrated conventional weapons systems electronic components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and associated subassemblies
- Conduct pre-test, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of aircraft systems and components
- Accomplish aircraft configuration changes based on mission requirements
- Perform explosive operations, including loading, unloading, positioning, arming, and safing assigned conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics
- Control tools, maintain clean work areas, and complete work control documentation in accordance with established procedures
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Work onsite at Maxwell AFB
- Work variable shifts, including 1st and 2nd shift, with the possibility of future 3rd shift assignments
- Weekend work may be required as program needs dictate
