Job Description

Perform fabrication operations supporting coating, surface preparation, and thermal protection system applications on flight hardware. Execute organic coating, chemical conversion, and spray, brush, and roll paint processes in accordance with engineering requirements. Support vacuum and mechanical bonding activities while ensuring compliance with safety and procedural standards.

• 1st Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; 2nd Shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM; Weekend 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and typically 1+ years of work-related experience
• Ability to apply organic coatings to meet corrosion protection and appearance requirements, as well as perform organic chemical conversion and paint preparation using brush, roll, and spray application methods
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals, and process documents

• Experience with brush, roll, and spray application

• Job Duties & Functions
• Apply organic coatings to meet corrosion protection and appearance requirements
• Perform chemical conversion and surface preparation activities using approved processes
• Execute brush, roll, and spray application methods on assigned components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and process work instructions
• Support vacuum and mechanical bonding of Thermal Protective Systems on flight hardware
• Apply Thermal Protective Systems using spray and pour methods
• Follow all assigned safety guidelines and procedural requirements
