Job Description
Performs routine and non-routine maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of airframe systems on commercial aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. Executes component servicing, system repairs, and operational checks while ensuring aircraft airworthiness and compliance with required documentation. Supports safe and efficient return-to-service operations through accurate maintenance practices and adherence to quality requirements.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid A&P License
- Minimum of 3+ years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Experience in troubleshooting aircraft systems, rigging, and installation of flight control systems, performing operational checks, engine removal, and replacement
- Ability to work in compliance with FAA regulations and maintenance documentation standards
- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on commercial aircraft airframe systems
- Inspect aircraft systems and components for serviceability and airworthiness compliance
- Troubleshoot mechanical and system-related discrepancies using technical documentation
- Remove and install aircraft components using approved tooling and ground support equipment
- Execute operational checks, servicing, and functional testing of aircraft systems
- Interpret job cards, service bulletins, SRMs, and maintenance manuals
- Document completed maintenance actions in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
- Support training and task guidance for less experienced mechanics as assigned
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and serviceable condition
- Perform aircraft servicing tasks, including hydraulic, fuel, APU, and related systems operations
- Conduct aircraft movement activities, including towing and marshaling when required
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Maintain mobility to access all areas of the aircraft for inspection and repair tasks
- Stand for extended periods up to 90 percent of the workday on hard surfaces
- Lift up to 50 pounds during maintenance activities
- Work in environments requiring sustained focus, coordination, and situational awareness
- Operate safely in conditions requiring auditory awareness for hazard recognition
