Job Description

Design and develop manufacturing processes and production layouts for circuit card assemblies, modules, and related manufacturing operations. Support production by interpreting engineering documentation, implementing process improvements, and developing tooling to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable specifications and regulatory requirements.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of experience or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of experience
    • 1 - 2 years of experience with AutoCAD
    • 1 - 2 years of experience with Blueprint Reading
    • 1 - 2 years of experience with General Assembly
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Preferred Skills
    • 1 - 2 years of experience with J-STD-001
    • < 1 year of experience with Surface Mount Technology
    • 1 - 2 years of experience with Wireharness Print Reading
    • 1 - 2 years of experience with Circuit Cards
    • 1 - 2 years of experience with Cable Harness
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Design manufacturing processes and production layouts for circuit card assemblies and module assemblies
    • Interpret engineering prints to develop manufacturing processes
    • Collaborate with design engineering to implement production improvements
    • Support the production floor by working closely with operations teams
    • Focus on continuous process improvement initiatives
    • Design, procure, and implement tooling to support manufacturing processes
    • Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as required
    • Inspect machinery, equipment, and tooling performance to verify efficiency
    • Investigate manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to improve product quality
    • Provide manufacturing guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements
    • Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and specifications
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Ability to walk up and down stairs
    • Lift and handle materials weighing at least 20 pounds
