Software Engineer

Job Description

Execute software development activities supporting engineering digital tools used for production and field aircraft issue resolution. Develop and maintain .NET-based applications, SQL database architectures, and data synchronization systems supporting engineering analysis. Support integration of diagnostic data systems while translating engineering and analytical requirements into functional software solutions.

• Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of work-related experience
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• 6+ years of experience working independently and with others
• 6+ years of experience with .NET Framework, C

• , Embedded Programming in C, MS Visual C

• , SQL, Windows Presentation Foundation, and .NET code development

• Preferred Skills
• 6+ years of experience with HTML
• 6+ years of experience coding and testing vehicle diagnostic-related programs
• Working knowledge of the company's IT protocols and policies

• Job Duties & Functions
• Develop software supporting digital tools required for production and field aircraft issues
• Design and document SQL database architecture
• Manage wireless and wired synchronization of aircraft data
• Communicate effectively with management and engineering teams
• Collaborate with NVH engineers throughout software development efforts
• Apply expert software development practices using the Microsoft .NET Framework
• Translate higher-level mathematics and statistical modeling concepts into software code
• Support development of engineering applications for multiple users and synchronized data environments

• Physical Requirements & Environment
• Telework less than 50 percent
• Work onsite in Stratford, CT as required
