Job Description
Perform support activities in composite development, experimental prototype fabrication, and assembly within a research and development environment. Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain composite-related equipment, tooling, and prototype components using engineering drawings and written instructions. Execute experimental builds and testing activities while preparing materials, documenting results, and supporting calibration and alignment processes.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
- 4+ years of work-related experience
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Job Duties & Functions
- Construct composite prototype components and assemblies
- Troubleshoot composite-related equipment and tooling
- Calibrate and adjust systems and prototype fabrication tools
- Test experimental builds and record results in required formats
- Diagnose issues in prototype components and fabrication processes
- Maintain and service composite fabrication and development equipment
- Prepare resin systems, hardeners, and curing solutions for experimental use
- Perform alignment and calibration checks on equipment systems
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Work in an experimental fabrication and prototype development environment
- Perform hands-on technical assembly and equipment operation activities
