Job Description
Lead engineering projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project execution, and ensuring technical, business, and program objectives are achieved. Develop project plans, statements of work, resource strategies, and performance metrics while supporting engineering programs from initiation through completion. Monitor project performance, manage risks, and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a directly related field
- Experience in a production or systems engineering role
- 4+ years of related work experience
- 3+ years of experience leading teams or managing cross-functional projects in a formal and/or informal role
- 4+ years of experience using project management tools
- 4+ years of advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including macro development, advanced Excel formulas, and pivot table manipulation
- 4+ years of experience developing presentations and reporting to senior or executive leadership
- Experience developing Tableau or Power BI metrics
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Successful completion of required on-the-job training or formal classroom training
- Preferred Skills
- 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project Management Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
- Experience in a manufacturing engineering role
- Experience with DoD contracts
- Experience with EVM/CAM
- Experience using Microsoft Project or Microsoft Planner
- Job Duties & Functions
- Provide engineering leadership to cross-functional project teams
- Develop statements of work supporting research, development, and business requirements
- Coordinate with customers and management to obtain project approvals
- Assess statement of work changes and negotiate impacts to deliverables, resources, costs, and schedules
- Lead project execution to complete assigned work statements
- Establish project performance metrics
- Plan, identify, and coordinate project resources throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop risk mitigation and opportunity plans
- Compare project performance against baseline plans to evaluate efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned
- Provide technical, business, and integration leadership supporting project execution
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
