Job Description
Perform cable inspection activities to ensure products meet engineering drawings, IPC standards, and quality requirements throughout the manufacturing process. Inspect completed cable assemblies, identify non-conformances, and support corrective actions while working closely with production and engineering teams. Execute inspections using established procedures and measurement equipment while maintaining quality documentation.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with Computer Operations
- Experience with Basic Computer Skills
- Experience with Blueprint Reading
- Experience with IPC-WHMA-A-620
- Experience with Visual Inspection
- Experience with Wireharness Print Reading
- Prior inspection experience
- Strong background in cable manufacturing and inspection
- Experience with soldered and crimp inspection using IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards
- Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control documents, reference documents, and work instructions
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Must successfully complete the required medical screening examination
- Job Duties & Functions
- Inspect cable assemblies using established methods, operations, and specifications
- Utilize measuring devices including dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales
- Accept, reject, or identify products requiring rework based on inspection results
- Review blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions
- Monitor product quality using statistical process and quality control procedures
- Communicate quality concerns with assemblers, engineers, technicians, customers, and management
- Support resolution of quality-related issues
- Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as required
- Maintain inspection accuracy and documentation throughout the manufacturing process
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Must successfully complete the required medical screening examination
- Work onsite full-time
- Work a 4/10 first shift schedule with overtime as required
