Job Description
Perform Service Life Analysis engineering activities supporting F-16 and F-22 aircraft structural integrity programs. Analyze metallic structures using Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT) principles and fracture mechanics to support Material Review Board (MRB) activities, production, field support, depot requirements, and ground testing. Execute service life assessments using in-house crack growth analysis tools to evaluate MRB dispositions for the F-16 Block 70 production line.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- 8+ years of experience with any of the Following: fracture mechanics, Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT), and/or fatigue
- 3+ years of experience with Material Review Board (MRB)
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform fatigue, durability, and damage tolerance analysis supporting new product designs and production of metallic structures
- Analyze service life requirements using in-house crack growth analysis tools to evaluate MRB dispositions
- Support Material Review Board activities for non-conforming parts and provide structural recommendations to substantiate dispositions
- Execute structural analysis supporting force management activities, field requirements, depot needs, and ground testing
- Prioritize assigned work independently while meeting program objectives
