- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline, and 4+ years of work-related experience
- Professional experience analyzing large datasets, building automated reports/dashboards, or supporting quality improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
- Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment and communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with statistical methods used in manufacturing (SPC, Capability Analysis, Pareto, Design of Experiments)
- Certification or training in Six Sigma, Lean, or other structured continuous-improvement methodologies
- Experience building automated data workflows or ETL processes using Python, SQL, or Alteryx
- Prior experience in Aerospace, Defense, or High-Reliability Electronics manufacturing
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other aerospace quality standards
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Java
- 1 - 2 years of experience with JavaScript
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Python
- 1 - 2 years of experience with SAP
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Scripting Proficiency - Python
- 1 - 2 years of experience with SQL
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Tableau
- Job Duties & Functions
- Apply SPC, Six-Sigma, regression, and hypothesis testing techniques to identify root causes of non-conforming hardware and develop corrective-action plans
- Translate complex analytical findings into concise visual stories and executive briefings that drive timely decision-making
- Design and maintain Power BI and Tableau dashboards to monitor defect trends, first-pass yield, scrap rates, and key performance indicators
- Define, monitor, and report quality metrics while maintaining audit-ready data supporting ISO 9001, AS9100, and contractual requirements
- Partner with Quality Program Managers, Manufacturing leads, engineering teams, and Change Control Boards to align quality objectives and reporting requirements
- Leverage Python, VBA, or Alteryx tools to automate data extraction, reporting, and trend analysis processes
- Identify and ingest internal and external data sources while developing robust ETL pipelines and maintaining data lineage documentation
- Support quality improvement initiatives across multiple delivery sites receiving circuit card assemblies, cabling, and box-level hardware
- Analyze operational data to provide actionable recommendations that improve product quality and delivery performance
