Software Engineer Senior

Job Description

Support the integration of open architecture services into tactically representative hardware within the Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare team. Perform software development, integration, testing, and verification activities to ensure end-to-end capability functionality on deployed hardware platforms. Contribute to complex technical assignments requiring investigation, analysis, and problem-solving in a fast-paced engineering environment.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, STEM, or a related field from an accredited college or university
• 4+ years of experience in software development using C++ and Python
• 4+ years of experience working with Linux, Red Hat Linux preferred
• Develop software solutions within complex engineering environments
• Analyze and resolve technical issues requiring critical thinking and problem-solving
• Support integration activities involving tactically representative hardware platforms
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• Understand Open System Architectures, including Big Iron and AMS GRA
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Podman
• Apply experience with Vagrant and Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)
• Leverage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, including GitLab CI/CD
• Build and maintain professional working relationships across functional teams
• Collaborate effectively with others while managing interpersonal dynamics and constructive conflict
