Material Handler

Job Description

Perform material handling, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and stock replenishment activities in support of operations at Robins Air Force Base. Support warehouse and bench stock operations through material movement, inventory control, documentation, and order fulfillment while maintaining accurate inventory records.

• 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• $19.00 Hourly

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 - 4 years of experience with Oral and Written Communication Skills
• 2 - 4 years of experience with Microsoft Suite
• Provide a valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance for access to Robins Air Force Base
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Job Duties & Functions
• Load and unload materials within plant, yard, and worksite locations
• Convey materials using carts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment
• Open containers utilizing hand tools as required
• Count and weigh materials and record inventory information
• Sort materials into designated Bench Stock Locations (BSL)
• Perform inventory transactions using a Windows tablet
• Order materials for bin replenishment utilizing handheld tablets and scanners
• Stack and assemble materials for storage and distribution
• Transfer materials onto and from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand
• Support shipping and receiving activities as assigned

• Position is labor-intensive
• Remain on feet for the majority of the shift
• Work onsite full-time
