Job Description
Interprets and analyzes engineering, reliability, maintainability, supply chain, and operational support data to develop supportability solutions and technical documentation for aircraft systems and components. Supports logistics analysis, provisioning activities, maintenance planning, and product supportability initiatives while evaluating operational performance and support requirements. Develops and maintains technical data used for operation, testing, inspection, maintenance, and sustainment activities.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 4 years of experience in the United States Air Force, heavy aircraft general maintenance and/or avionics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, FrameMaker, and Arbortext/Editor
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with engineers, subject-matter experts, and illustrators
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow established processes and checklists
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Jet engine experience
- Hydraulic technician experience
- Avionics experience
- Job Duties & Functions
- Interprets and analyzes engineering, reliability, maintainability, supply chain, and operational support data
- Develops support solutions and products, including support analysis, provisioning solutions, and spares solutions
- Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operational maintenance tasks and support resources
- Develops support systems to achieve supportability requirements
- Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definitions
- Creates logistics support analysis records and reports
- Determines spares provisioning requirements and establishes recommendations for spare and replacement parts
- Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components
- Evaluates aircraft and fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts
- Supports collection, analysis, and storage of support technical data elements and specifications
- Assists with establishing product supportability operational maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems
- Supports provisioning activities for spare and replacement parts, stocking levels, and customer support requirements
- Participates in the preparation of technical documentation for aircraft systems and components
- Supports review of aircraft and fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability
