Job Description

Perform material handling, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and material inspection activities within a warehouse environment. Support material accountability, discrepancy resolution, and warehouse operations through the safe handling, tracking, and movement of materials. Assist with loading, unloading, conveying, and staging materials while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company procedures.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with 0 - 3 years of experience
• Previous material inspector experience in the Defense industry
• Microsoft Office experience, primarily Excel
• Previous forklift experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Job Duties & Functions
• Load, unload, and convey materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site
• Perform shipping and receiving activities under specific direction
• Open containers using hand tools
• Count and weigh materials and record information
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand
• Load and unload materials into or from trucks by hand
• Transport materials using hand trucks, forklifts, electric dollies, or other material handling devices
• Stack and assemble materials as required
• Assist material handlers with lifting heavy objects by hand or by using power hoists
• Address and resolve material discrepancy tickets

• PPE required: Steel or composite toe shoes
