ERP Analyst

Job Description

Analyze, configure, and support SAP ERP solutions for Manufacturing Production Operations while ensuring integration with PLM and MES systems. Develop functional requirements, testing strategies, documentation, and end-user training materials to support enterprise application implementations and enhancements. Coordinate with developers and business stakeholders to deliver system improvements, production support, and operational readiness activities.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with 16 years of experience or a Master's degree with 14 years of experience
• 5+ years of experience with SAP ERP Master Data in one or more of the following areas: Material Masters, Work Centers, MBOMs, Task Lists (Routings, Ref Op Sets, General Maintenance Task Lists), and Change Masters
• 5+ years of experience with SAP ERP Order Data in one or more of the following areas: Production Orders, Refurbishment Orders, and Network Orders
• 5+ years of experience with SAP ERP Order Functionality in one or more of the following areas: Order Release, Order Splits, Order Confirmations, Order Scraps, Order Cancellations, Order Date Revisions, Line Rejects, Part Number Rolls, and Major Component Swaps
• 4 - 6 years of experience with SAP
• Experience authoring functional specifications based on customer requirements
• Experience working with ABAP developers to design and standardize customized functional solutions
• Experience working in Aerospace and Defense
• Ability to apply support, project management skills, and functional knowledge to meet operational business needs
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Job Duties & Functions
• Analyze Manufacturing Production Operations business processes and procedures for improvement and system applicability
• Provide clearly defined solutions supporting Manufacturing Production Operations for SAP configuration and related business processes
• Perform gap analysis and system re-engineering of SAP activities
• Support system design, development, configuration, and unit testing activities for SAP implementation projects
• Execute operational assessment readiness activities during blueprint, configuration, testing, and production support phases
• Author functional specifications for enhancements, conversions, interfaces, and integrations between SAP ERP, Team Center PLM, and Apriso MES systems
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing activities
• Develop documentation and training materials for end users utilizing SAP methodologies
• Write functional requirements and develop test plans
• Resolve production issues and support operational continuity
• Coordinate with developers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented
• Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise application content, processes, and implementation procedures
• Support integration between SAP ERP, PLM, and MES environments
• Facilitate data-driven decision-making initiatives
