Product Review Engineer 3

Job Description

Provide engineering support for the disposition of discrepant products during fabrication and installation activities using Material Review Board processes and established design principles. Support production operations through technical evaluations, drawing interpretation, and engineering analysis. Coordinate with operations teams to resolve product issues in a manufacturing environment.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline
• Typically 5+ years of related engineering experience
• Capable of reviewing and interpreting electrical drawing diagrams, schematics, and specifications
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with electrical fabrication and installation planning of electrical wire harnesses
• Knowledge of commercial aircraft or defense systems
• Experience with VC-25 or B747 aircraft design principles, including wiring diagrams and specifications
• Prior Material Review Board (MRB) experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with electrical drawings
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and schematics

• Job Duties & Functions
• Apply design principles in conjunction with Material Review Board processes to disposition discrepant products during fabrication and installation of electrical wire harnesses
• Provide on-site engineering support to operations partners
• Support production activities in an operations and manufacturing environment
• Review discrepant products and determine appropriate engineering dispositions
• Coordinate with operations personnel to resolve production-related issues
• Evaluate electrical wire harness fabrication and installation concerns
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to support engineering decisions
