Job Description
Support installation, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of aircraft avionics and electrical systems on CRJ aircraft within an MRO environment. Execute maintenance activities in accordance with FAA regulations, engineering data, and approved maintenance documentation. Maintain aircraft airworthiness through testing, diagnostics, and system verification while supporting scheduled maintenance operations.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical school or avionics training (preferred).
- Valid A&P License
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience working with aircraft avionics systems on the CRJ platform (CRJ200 preferred)
- Must have your own tools
- Possess proficiency with avionics test equipment and hand tools
- Maintain strong knowledge of FAA regulations and standards (Part 43, 91, 145, etc.)
- Interpret and read schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
- Apply strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Exhibit communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined or elevated areas
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Job Duties & Functions
- Install, route, terminate, and secure aircraft wiring harnesses, coaxial cables, and related avionics wiring systems per engineering drawings
- Perform installation of avionics components, including communication, navigation, and aircraft system equipment
- Conduct continuity checks, pin-to-pin verification, and functional testing of avionics systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and avionics system malfunctions using approved technical data and test equipment
- Inspect installed systems to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications
- Document maintenance actions, inspections, and repairs in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to support aircraft readiness and scheduled maintenance flow
