Job Description

Support manufacturing engineering activities by reviewing engineering changes, developing manufacturing plans, and coordinating retrofit solutions for aircraft modification programs. Analyze engineering documentation, maintain Bills of Materials, and support tooling, supplier integration, and manufacturing readiness activities. Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient implementation of design changes while meeting production, cost, and schedule requirements.#Job Details*Manufacturing*Commercial*1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM*Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Associate degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Possess 3+ years of related manufacturing engineering or manufacturing technician experience
    • Demonstrate proven experience in a manufacturing engineering or technician role
    • Maintain a basic understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
    • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Apply strong organizational and documentation skills in a detail-oriented environment
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Review engineering drawing work statements and assess impacts to retrofit processes
    • Coordinate with design engineers and service bulletin engineers to support the implementation of engineering changes
    • Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans and Bills of Materials (BOM)
    • Define and document retrofit solutions
    • Assist with the development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology
    • Review supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing-related requirements
    • Identify tooling requirements and initiate tooling orders
    • Support tooling dispositions based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
    • Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues of limited scope
    • Support producibility assessments for part and product designs
    • Provide input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedule objectives
    • Develop work statements and event sequencing to support delivery commitments
    • Assist in the review, maintenance, and monitoring of internal documents
    • Review and analyze engineering change requests (ECRs) to determine impacts on manufacturing processes, tooling, and assembly
    • Clarify technical details and resolve discrepancies with design and service bulletin engineers
    • Participate in change board meetings and provide recommendations related to engineering changes
    • Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation related to manufacturing issues
    • Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and design engineering teams to integrate engineering changes into manufacturing
