Job Description

Support quality assurance activities for hardware products, including Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), cable assemblies, and box-level systems. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and program teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, drive process improvements, investigate product issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives through data analytics, automation, and advanced quality methodologies.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Possess a minimum of 2 years of quality engineering or related experience
    • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across sites and program teams
    • 2-4 years of experience applying knowledge of AS9100 standards or equivalent aerospace quality management systems
    • 2-4 years of experience in supporting additive manufacturing environments
    • 2-4 years of experience applying rapid prototyping experience
    • 2-4 years of experience performing quality audits and generating quality audit reports
    • Maintain familiarity with hardware engineering requirements, system integration, and testing processes
    • Utilize knowledge of manufacturing requirements and quality engineering systems
    • Work comfortably in a production floor environment
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Preferred Skills
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Utilize Tableau and other data visualization platforms for quality tracking and analysis
    • Possess Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent problem-solving experience
    • Demonstrate experience supporting Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), cable assemblies, and box-level products
    • Apply knowledge of IPC and J-STD standards
    • Demonstrate familiarity with Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Apply quality principles to production control, design evaluations, and engineering workflows to ensure compliance with specifications and product requirements
    • Collaborate with Quality Program Managers, production personnel, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve quality processes
    • Lead root cause investigations of product failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
    • Analyze defect trends and recommend systemic process improvements
    • Develop and refine inspection processes and testing methodologies
    • Support quality assurance activities for CCAs, cable assemblies, and box-level systems
    • Coordinate quality process alignment across partner programs and manufacturing locations
    • Utilize Tableau dashboards and predictive analytics tools to monitor production metrics and identify trends
    • Implement automation and AI-driven solutions to improve inspection effectiveness and reduce defects
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and manufacturing performance
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Work onsite full-time in a manufacturing environment
    • Perform duties on the production floor as required
    • Interact regularly with manufacturing, engineering, and program personnel
