Software Engineer

Job Description

Execute software development activities, including design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software solutions using C++ and Unreal Engine to address business and mission requirements. Apply established standards, processes, procedures, and development lifecycle tools while working with system users and technical inputs to ensure effective software solutions. Analyze, correct, and maintain program functionality while ensuring compliance with defined software standards and system requirements.

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 4 - 6 years of experience with C++ - Advanced Level
• 4 - 6 years of experience with Unreal Engine Development
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Job Duties & Functions
• Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities, including design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging
• Applies standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle
• Develops software solutions using Unreal Engine and C++ programming language
• Corrects program errors and resolves software defects
• Prepares operating instructions and technical documentation
• Compiles documentation of program development activities
• Analyzes system capabilities and resolves program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
