Job Description
Perform testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and electronic subassemblies in a production environment. Analyze test results, isolate failures to the component level, and support production schedules through effective troubleshooting and repair activities. Assist with test procedure development, product improvements, and quality verification activities while utilizing a variety of electronic test equipment.

- Education & Job Requirements
- 1 year of direct experience testing electronic assemblies
- 1 year of direct electronics experience
- Demonstrate proficiency in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state and digital circuits
- Perform electronics circuit card troubleshooting and testing
- Apply electronics troubleshooting techniques in a production environment
- Demonstrate electrical troubleshooting capabilities
- Utilize basic computer skills to support testing and documentation activities
- Operate Microsoft Office Suite and other data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actions
- Troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry using schematic diagrams
- Operate Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Frequency Standards, and Signal Generators
- Possess a strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry
- Experience with Flying Probe or In-Circuit Tester equipment
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Radar Systems
- Ability to troubleshoot RF circuits
- Experience performing vibration and thermal ESS testing on circuit card assemblies and subassemblies
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) troubleshooting
- Experience troubleshooting digital circuitry
- Experience operating Flying Probe equipment
- Experience with MIL-STD-167-1A (Vibration)
- Experience with thermal testing
- Job Duties & Functions
- Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units
- Follow established methods, procedures, standards, and testing sequences
- Lay out and assemble units for the production of electronic equipment according to designs and specifications
- Adjust and calibrate electronic assembly systems as required
- Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts and components
- Utilize hand tools, small power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment during testing and repair activities
- Determine appropriate tests to be performed on products and assemblies
- Approve and recommend modifications to testing equipment
- Analyze test results to evaluate product and equipment performance
- Assist engineers with the design and development of test procedures for new products
- Recommend product improvements and manufacturing modifications
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control and other quality procedures
- Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to the component level
- Utilize schematic diagrams to isolate failures on analog and digital circuitry
- Support production schedules within a dynamic manufacturing environment
