Test Evaluation Engineer 4

Job Description

Leads planning and execution of flight test operations for system-level and mission testing activities. Develops test procedures, instrumentation configurations, and test methods to support flight test execution and reporting requirements. Reviews and analyzes test data and communicates results through formal reporting and coordination with engineering and flight operations teams.

• 1st Shift, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (possible 2nd shift and weekends)

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
• 9+ years of experience in engineering or equivalent flight test-related experience
• 5+ years of experience in planning and conducting system-level lab, ground, or flight testing
• 100+ hours of control room experience as a test conductor
• Experience with flight test principles and execution support activities
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience performing tactical aircraft flight testing (planning or execution)
• 5+ years of experience interfacing with customers and senior program leadership
• 5+ years of experience developing test points from system requirements, test planning, execution, and reporting

• Job Duties & Functions
• Support development and verification of test methods for flight test operations
• Develop detailed test procedures and instrumentation configurations for safe and effective execution
• Perform planning and execution of aircraft ground and flight test activities
• Review test data for accuracy, quality, and validity prior to customer delivery
• Prepare and publish test reports documenting results and compliance with requirements
• Present test results to internal stakeholders and program teams
• Archive test data and reports in accordance with program requirements
• Train and guide junior test conductors in flight test operations and development
