NC Programmer 3

Job Description

Develops and maintains numerical control programs and machine control data required to manufacture and inspect aerospace parts, tools, and assemblies. Supports manufacturing by planning machining methods, integrating new manufacturing technologies, and producing accurate technical documentation while working under general direction.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Associate's degree and 3+ years of related work experience, a Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of related work experience, 5+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience providing numerical control machining and programming support, including supporting numerically controlled machining equipment and creating, verifying, and revising Machine Control Data (MCD).
• Experience with CATIA/ENOVIA, IVT, and REDARS.
• Experience creating 3D models from 2D engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.
• Experience establishing technical manufacturing and producibility requirements, including aerospace tooling and fixture design.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

• Job Duties & Functions
• Establish technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility
• Plan, create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation used to manufacture and inspect aerospace parts, tools, and assemblies
• Support the development and integration of new machining techniques, manufacturing methods, software, and equipment
• Develop 3D models from 2D engineering drawings
• Apply knowledge of Photo Contact Masters (PCM) and mylars during manufacturing processes
• Utilize aerospace tooling, GD&T, and fixture design principles to support production
• Work under general direction while supporting machining and manufacturing operations
