Job Description
Plans, develops, integrates, and validates subsystem and system-level test solutions across RF, analog, digital, electronic warfare, electro-optics, and communications technologies. Leads development of automated test programs and supports hardware/software integration using systems such as LM-STAR, LM-CORE, and eCASS. Coordinates cross-functional engineering efforts, analyzes test outcomes, and ensures verification and validation of system performance.
- Education & Job Requirements
- Valid A&P License
- Bachelor's degree and 9-15 years of work-related experience
- 4-6 years of experience with electronic assembly and electrical testing
- 4-6 years of experience with Software design and development
- 4-6 years of experience with Testing and Development
- 4-6 years of experience with Electronic Testing
- 2-4 years of experience with Integration
- 4-6 years of experience with Requirements Development
- 4-6 years of experience with Software testing / fault insertion experience
- 4-6 years of experience with Systems Analysis & Design Skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- 2-4 years of experience with Test Equipment Design
- Job Duties & Functions
- Plans and implements system and subsystem integration and test strategies aligned with contractual, technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Develops and executes Test Program Sets (TPS) supporting RF, analog, digital, electronic warfare, electro-optics, and communications systems
- Leads development of automated test solutions using LM-STAR, LM-CORE, and eCASS test systems
- Coordinates cross-functional engineering efforts across hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated test solutions
- Develops and maintains test programs using PAWS ATLAS, NI TestStand, and LabWindows CVI
- Performs detailed analysis of test results and produces system and subsystem evaluation reports, validating performance
- Writes discrepancy reports and executes regression testing to verify and validate implemented fixes
- Supports hardware/software integration and resolves interface issues across system components
- Leads technical execution activities for TPS development teams and provides project-level technical direction
- Utilizes standard electronics lab equipment to support integration and verification activities
- Ensures testability requirements are derived, documented, and incorporated into system designs
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Work performed in lab, integration, and test environments involving electronic systems and test equipment
- May require standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined or technical spaces for extended periods
- Exposure to electronics testing environments, moderate noise, and varying temperatures
